THY long-haul layovers: which ones do crew actually enjoy?

#1 From my layover notebook, THY favourites: Bangkok (long, cheap, great food), Tokyo (short but perfect), Cape Town (the hotel), Buenos Aires (steak and the walkable centre), and Toronto in summer. Least favourite: any 24-hour Africa turnaround with a 03:00 pickup. What are yours?

#2 Seoul and Singapore for me. And I'll defend the short Africa rotations, Lagos and Nairobi crews are lovely and the allowances add up.

#3 As a Tokyo local: THY crew hotel is well placed, and if you get a second night, Kamakura is 90 minutes away and worth it.
