#1 A recruiter told me flying a year at Ryanair makes you a much stronger Emirates candidate. Is this actually a path people take, or just talk?

#2 Very real. As an ex-Emirates assessor: a candidate with 12+ months flying at any airline is the lowest-risk hire in the room, trained, checked annually, used to 04:30 reports. Ryanair and Wizz crew were consistently strong in group exercises because they'd done a thousand turnarounds under pressure. Do a year, then apply.

#3 Half my training class from 2022 is now at Emirates, Qatar or Etihad. It's a well-worn path.
