Singapore Airlines cabin crew recruitment 2026, walk-in interviews, stages, the kebaya fitting
-
#1 SIA recruits through walk-in interview sessions in Singapore and selected cities. Stages in one long day or two: document check and height (minimum 1.58 m for women, 1.65 m for men), group discussion, an English test, a one-to-one interview, then a uniform (kebaya) fitting and a final management interview. Grooming is assessed throughout at a level stricter than European carriers. Requirements: 18+, diploma or degree (A-levels/diploma minimum), and a willingness to be based in Singapore on a contract of a few years. It's demanding and the training is long, but the grades and the service standard are respected everywhere.

#2 From the Cathay side: SIA's grooming bar is the one we all compare ourselves to. If you can pass SIA's fitting, you'll pass anyone's.
-
#3 Diploma required, that rules out a few of my friends. Is a hospitality certificate enough?
-
#4 A recognised diploma generally, yes; check the current posting for the exact educational wording as it's specific.
