#1 Delta person here but the PBS question applies everywhere. Ryan, how do you bid well with low seniority at United?

#2 Three things: bid for what's realistic (the system falls back to leftovers if your bids are fantasy), learn the preferences that seniors don't want (red-eyes, holiday weekends, certain layovers) and bid for those deliberately, and use trip trades with crew whose preferences invert yours. I got international trips in year two by bidding the trips nobody senior wanted at the times they didn't want them.
