Six years at Cathay, so here's the current picture. Recruitment reopened at scale after 2022; stages are an online application, a video interview, a group assessment with an English test, and a final interview in Hong Kong or in a recruitment city. The 2023 grooming update allows tattoos that are fully covered by the uniform; visible ones on hands, neck and face are still not accepted. Housing isn't provided, but there's an allowance for foreign hires, and Hong Kong rent is the main cost. Long-haul network to the Americas, Europe and Australia, with good layovers.

Covered-tattoo policy noted. Forearm under long sleeves would be fine then?

If long sleeves are part of your uniform variant year-round, yes. Check the specific uniform for your fleet and gender at the assessment.
