Christmas and New Year rosters, who actually gets them off?

#1 Six years and I have had Christmas Day off twice. Seniority based airlines give it to the seniors, request based ones rotate it. If you have kids, plan Christmas around the roster not the other way. How does it work at your airline?

#2 Delta: seniors hold it. Juniors work it and take the premium pay. Two years, two Christmases in a galley.

#3 Emirates: Christmas is not a holiday in Dubai, so it is a normal roster day. You get it off by request luck or a swap.

#4 Air France: a rotation system so everyone gets some years. Twelve years, five Christmases at home.
