United training in Houston: the 6.5 weeks, the hotel, the exams

Around six and a half weeks, hotel accommodation near the training centre, paid at a training rate. Classroom and door drills daily, exams at 90 percent, the pool, service training in the mock cabins. The washouts I saw were the same as everywhere: memory work and lateness. It is well run and the instructors are ex line crew who want you to pass.
