Most carriers set 18; Gulf and US majors usually 21.
Height & reach
157 cm min
Reach matters more than height: you must access the emergency equipment overhead.
Tattoos
Nothing visible in uniform
Tattoos must not be visible in uniform; covered tattoos are acceptable. Like most of the 59 airlines we index, nothing may show while you are in uniform.
Languages
English + Malay
Good English and Malay; other ASEAN languages are advantages at affiliate airlines.
Education
SPM or equivalent secondary qualification minimum.

Medical, swimming & documents
Minimum height ~157 cm (women) / ~170 cm (men); Malaysian citizenship for Malaysian AOC intakes (affiliates hire their own nationals); able to swim; comfortable with early sign-ons and multi-sector days.
